The famous story by I.L. Peretz about a Litvak that comes to the court of the Nimirover Rebbe during Selichot. The Rebbe is missing and when the Litvak asks the Chassidim where he went, they said that the Nimirover Rebbe ascends to heaven during Selichot. The Litvak wants to see if it’s true.
