The first is about the great Rabbi Elazar Rokeach of Amsterdam, and what he did when government officials burst into his Purim seudah with news that a dam had broken and thousands were in danger. The second is about a five-year-old boy named Shaul, who sang so beautifully at the Baal Shem Tov’s Purim table that the Rebbe wouldn’t let him go home — and a promise made in a roadside inn that wouldn’t be kept for another thirty years. And then I have Purim stories from previous years. The next episode will be after Purim.
